At the PTSD clinic, he treated veterans with many kinds of different acupuncture techniques including scalp, auricular, hands, electro acupuncture, Tung’s acupuncture, Korean needle techniques and NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) protocol.
Vets visiting the PTSD clinic were those who served in World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Persian Gulf War, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and the current conflict in Afghanistan. That treatment focuses deep into clients tissues more physical force by therapist. I suffer from back pain and back spasms, so I understand and customize each massage session according to. Myofascial Massage is like Deep Tissue, most therapeutic. This treatment is performed with no lotion, to listen, grasp and engage to tissues quicker and deeper so therapist will know exactly what areas to work. Hot Rock massage is another modality that I like to use before Deep Tissue to loosen fascia. Trigger Point Release is great for clients who have "knots" or "hills" in body. I work specifically in that area to flatten or smooth trigger point. Are you athletic, work out frequently, or enjoy sports? I perform sports massage as well! Massage is more upbeat, faster flow, gets the blood running and heart pumping. Sports Massage is great before and after sport events. Swedish massage is most common. Very relaxing. A gentle hello to the body with comforting strokes to unwind stress. Each massage is customized to each client based off their own needs at that time. Each massage starts with a full consultation to get to know the client and the clients body before work. I also have volunteered over the years at many church events in local communities.
